At the request of Rita, I'm finally updating my blog. I've pretty much given up the whole internet social scene because a) I like to talk in person and b) working at a computer all day makes me not want to be on it when I'm off.
So I've been graduated for a year. It feels really weird, yet really awesome. No writing papers or going to class are my favorite parts. Obviously. But I've kept myself pretty busy and very happy since then.
All summer I hung out with friends and worked a little (with no idea how I still had money to pay rent from my measly job). I went on some road trips, did a lot of camping and rode my bike around the city. I started trail running and also did some climbing. In August, I started working at Snowbird bussing tables. Not the most glorious job but I made bank doing it. Then I was rehired at Backcountry.com doing the Livehelp chat in September.
Starting in December, I was working 7 days a week and snowboarding 4 days a week. Yep really. I loved/hated it. But who else do you know that can still get 80+ days of riding while working everyday for 5 months. Needless to say, I was exhausted and I quit Snowbird in April due to some management issues. I'm still working at Backcountry and killing it every quarter so far.
I plan to work there all summer and have time to relax. Lots of plans for backpacking the Uintas and Moab, climbing and camping. Raging Waters, floating the Provo, Cottonwood Heights and hoping my plan for hitchhiking boats on lakes will keep me cool when I'm stuck in the city.
Speaking of cities...I'm hoping to move out of it in the fall. I'm trying to get a cabin to rent in Big Cottonwood Canyon, which has been my dream before I even graduated. I can't wait to live in the mountains, walk to the resort, work from home and live my snowboard bum dream.
I'll try to update more often and with some pictures when I do next.

YAY!! Told you I checked often :D
Also, I bought some black sandals from Backcountry.com today and saved a lot of $$$.
I thought about you for a long time on Sunday. I'm just so proud of you and your grown-up little life. You are a wonderful person and I feel so happy that we are friends. I love you!!
Yo...It's been awhile AGAIN now ;) Just kidding. Hey, I used your code at Backcountry and saved myself nearly $30 on some way-too-expensive old lady sandals that I really loooove. I visited the site again today and loaded up my cart only to discover that I've misplaced your code. If it's not too buggy, can I use it again?
My email address is:

ONLY if it's not too much trouble.
You're great.
Reading about you snowboarding brings back memories of when you and I would go. I actually was missing it last week believe it or not, never thought i would go snowboarding again but maybe i will now with my new desire!?! Have fun!
