Practicing waking up early for winter - alarm 7 a.m., trail head 8:15 a.m.
It was chilly - like frost on the ground cold.
Made it to Lake Blanche in less than 2 hours - about 3 miles up

Next night, got off work at 10 p.m. and hiked in to camp with some friends in Guardsman.
Woke up to a surprise, awesome view and the sweetest tent spot.

Those are some beautiful pictures. You almost make me want to like hiking...almost.
I don't know how you can like running but not hiking! I hate running, but hiking gets you exercise and you get the sweet views!
